Create / reinstall this profile

From this flake directory:

  • nix profile install --profile ~/.nix-profile path:$PWD#default

Installing software

  • Add packages to pkgs or pkgsUnstable, run nix profile upgrade nix-mac

Update unstable packages

  • nix flake update unstable
  • nix profile ugrade nix-mac

Update nix package manager

  • sudo nix-channel --update
  • sudo nix-env -iA nixpkgs.nix
  • reboot computer
  • check nix --version after reboot
